GAO Assessment of Programs is here

The GAO has released its annual look at major defense programs, "Assessments of Selected Weapons Programs." The number of programs the report assessed reduced from 79 to 78, while the total planned investment increased by approximately $9.4 billion, from $1.45 trillion to $14.6 trillion. Cost growth is a major factor. Since these programs' inception, they have experienced over $484 billion in cost growth, 60% of which was experienced after programs entered their production phase.
