Remote fire monitoring camera requirements/salient characteristics. REQUIRED: Remote portable camera with 360-degree field of view and capable of optical zoom. Minimum 1080p video streaming, Minimum 125-watt foldable solar panel, Ethernet cable, clamps required for set up. All electronics needed for operating camera to include but not limited to: tripod, battery, wall charger, anchoring kit, durable carrying case for batteries and battery connecting cables. Must be able to remotely monitor the video stream from the camera. Camera needs to be compatible with a Verizon data plan (sim card provided by government). Must include portable mount (we are not looking for a camera that stays in one place, this system should be able to either be driven or flown by helicopter into remote areas and monitor a current wildfire or prescribed fire for a short duration of time (1-4 weeks) and then move the camera to another location or wildfire). Any service time for additional set up needs (Telemetry, or other), 4-hours of training, 12-months software access. Camera needs to be built and constructed for forestry applications. Camera should be weather resistant against rain, snow, hail, wind, and temperatures below freezing. System should be able to be set up and taken down by a single person in a remote area of the wilderness.
