The Government intends to procure, under only one responsible source, where no other suppliers or service will satisfy the agency requirements. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Southwest (NAVFAC Southwest) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide a Roof Mounted Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) unit that has equal performance and listing/approval requirements to the following product. Squadron Maintenance Hangar at Naval Base Ventura County, CA will require a Roof Mounted Computer Room Air Conditioning unit with the following capabilities: Salient features include: The welded aluminum cabinet with 1 closed cell acoustical/thermal insulation is designed for outdoor location. Exterior is finished with weather and UV resistant coating. Unit air leakage is less than 1% of design airflow. Factory assembled, self-contained galvannealed steel skid base is provided for roof mounting. Outdoor cabinet and mounting skids included. Two independent refrigerant circuits with scroll compressors avoids substantial de-rating effect on cooling output. Direct drive Electronically Commutated (EC) supply fans provide precision cooling and dehumidification in the computer rooms. Axial EC condenser fans provide load matching of heat rejection to ambient conditions. Precision cooling at all times to maintain temperature of 72F and relative humidity of 40-70% 24/7 continuous operation Load in 12 tons or less This notification is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation, request for proposals, quotes, or invitation of bids or award a contract.
