The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to provide responses to questions received from interested vendors in response to the combined synopsis/solicitation. This is being provided for information only. Refer to Attachment B for the Questions and Answers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation where quotations will be requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 effective 6/2/2023. Solicitation Number 140R4023Q0091 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(2)(ii). This requirement is synopsized and solicited under Full and Open Competition. The applicable NAICS code is 332911 with a business size standard of 750 employees. This Notice is Requesting Quotations under Full and Open Competition PURPOSE: The intent of this acquisition is to acquire new replacement valves and actuators with integral controllers for each pump on the system. A single type of actuator shall be provided to operate all valves, which will allow for ease of replacement and consistency during maintenance. The various torque and operating time requirements of each facility shall be met by supplying appropriate gearboxes to complete the valve/actuator assembly.
