Pre-solicitation Notice SAM Business Opportunities NAICS: 334111- Electronic Computer Manufacturing PSC Code- 7B22 Title: Propulsion Auxiliary Control, Damage Control, Ballast Control, and various machinery control Human-Machined Interfaces (HMI) NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. THE FORMAL SOLICITATION WILL BE UPLOADED SEPERATELY IN WWW.SAM.GOV. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navys ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 516, which is responsible for machinery controls engineering support and advanced damage control systems support. The requirement is in support of a contract for Propulsion Auxiliary Control, Damage Control, Ballast Control, and various machinery control Human-Machined Interfaces (HMI). These HMIs shall be used on U.S. Naval Ships, Military Sealift Command, Army, U.S. Coast Guard and foreign Navy Ships to control and monitor multiple systems. The requirement includes processors, Central Processing Unit (CPU) enclosures, flat panel displays, deck mounted consoles, bulkhead mounted consoles, associated hardware and peripheral equipment used to display and control system specific information. The required items are commercial within the meaning of Commercial Product; FAR Part 2. Commercial terms and conditions will apply to the solicitation and resulting contract. The following contractor is the incumbent: N64498-19-D-4002 NAG Marine (Cage Code:1PL37) This acquisition is anticipated to be procured as a small business set-aside, awarded on a best value/trade-off basis. The solicitation will require the submission of a proposal including both technical and price volumes. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The ordering period for resultant contract is anticipated to be sixty (60) months. Upon release of solicitation (which is projected to be released no later than (NLT) November of 2023), it is anticipated that the request for proposals (RFP) will close at least 30 days thereafter.
