1. Name of Project: Outdoor Warning System Renewable Maintenance 2. Location of Project: Argonne National Laboratory 9700 Cass Avenue Lemont, IL 60439-48033 3. Scope of Work: A. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with, as well as documented per inspection schedule. This maintenance activity shall take placeannually at each of the following locations*: Four (4) Federal Signal, 2001 Series Outdoor Warning Siren complete with all relatedpole-mounted siren motor/RF controls and solar power distribution equipment at four site locations. Three (3) Federal Signal Central Control Unit (CCU) complete with related PC, SS2000+encoder, base station radio and antenna system hardware at three site locations. One (1) Federal Signal FCTBDH Series Indoor PA System Interface Controller includingrelated antenna system at one site location. *Location specifics to be sent upon awarding of contract. B.The service to be performed by Contractor shall also consist of repair or replacement of theequipment and parts and components which have malfunctioned or become inoperative.Should any equipment defect be noted during the maintenance inspections, or, if anunscheduled system failure occurs, Contractor will submit a detailed labor and parts estimateof the repair cost. Contractor will delay such repair(s) until Argonne National Laboratoryissues either a verbal or written approval. Such delay shall not interfere with the scheduledmaintenance on the balance of the warning system. C.All work under this contract will be performed with an Argonne escort. D. The Contractors installation/service personnel are responsible for the removal and off-site disposal of any debris resulting in the performance of this work. 4.Work Schedule: This work shall be performed during Argonne normal business hours, completed annually and billed before September 1st of each calendar year. 5. Notification of Work: A. Contractor shall coordinate with the On- Site Representative. B. Contractor must complete a High Risk Job Safety Analysis Form, ESH-209, and send to the Argonne Procurement Representative, Jazlyn Mangis via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. For site access and for coordination/scheduling of delivery, the Argonne Technical Representative must receive a copy of this completed ESH-209 form. C. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and shall provide by appropriate language that The UChicago Argonne, LLC, The University of Chicago and the US Government are additional insureds; that the insurance afforded by such policies is primary insurance and, that all rights of the insurer for contribution from other insurers of The UChicago Argonne, LLC, The University of Chicago and the US Government are waived. D. No on-site work shall begin until a Notice to Proceed is received by the contractor from the Argonne Procurement Representative. A Notice to Proceed will not be issued until both the High Risk Job Safety Analysis Form, ESH-209, and the required Insurance Certificate is obtained. 6. Material and Labor to be furnished by the Contractor: Contractor will furnish all necessary labor and tools to complete the above work. 7. Post Testing Documentation Owed to the Argonne Site Representative: After completion, the Contractor shall provide a report with all the applicable information mentioned above. This report should also summarize and clearly state existing problems and the resolutions made to restore component to operational state. 8. Terms and Conditions: A. Contractor must acceptAppendix A-71COM, Terms and Conditions for Commercial Items and Services, ANL-71COM, dated February 13, 2023 andHigh-Risk Work by Contractors on the Argonne Site Supplemental Conditions, ANL-366H, dated September 8, 2023. B. Contractors work on the Argonne site is subject to compliance with the ES&H requirements identified in Applicable Documentation.
