This acquisition will be 100% total SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, parts, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance to the fuel boom reel hydraulic system, remove the existing Boom Reel from bldg. 6085, transport the reel to base recycling center (bldg. 6035) for Tyndall AFB. The requirement is being solicited as a total set-aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code 483113: Barge Transportation, coastal or Great Lakes. The contractor is required to be registered in the System of Awards Management (SAM) database and maintain the registration throughout the life of the contract. In addition, the contractor is required to be registered in the system, Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for the processing of payments. Quote Due Date:No later than 1:00 PM CST, 21 September 2023 There will be a site visit scheduled, September 14th @1:00PM. Meet at Tyndall AFB Visitors Center before to request base access. No more question will be accepted after 20 Sept 2023, 1PM Central Day Light Time. Questions 1)What is the size of boom required and quantity that will be held on this reel? Additionally, we need to know if this is electrically powered, or a diesel hydraulic spec? Answer: The boom is already on the ground and will be put on by us. The boom reel is a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system is powered by a generator.All we need is for the old reel to be removed, the new reel secured in place, and the hydraulic tank and lines be checked for leaks. There are two known leaks the require attention 2)What is the size of boom required and quantity that will be held on this reel? Answer: Government has the boom and reel: 12 inch ( 4 inch float/8 inch curtain ) 1000 feet
