The Government has a requirement for material handlers in order to support the Furnishing Management Section (FMS) during peak Permanent Change of Station (PCS) season (1 May 2024 - 31 October 2024) within the Kaiserslautern Military Community area. The contractor shall provide a minimum of six (6) Material Handlers, one of which shall function as an onsite supervisor; see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for a detailed work description. The contractors must be able to independently perform a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, and lifting a wide variety of materials, equipment, and supplies. They shall be required to aid in the performance, delivery, and pickup of furnishings and appliances in support of the FMS for over 15,000 Kaiserslautern Military Community customers. If exercised, the contractor must also provide additional material handlers under Option CLINs 1001 and 1002, for a total of eight (8) employees under this contract.
