THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations-Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award for the acquisition of a Mouse Bird Fossil for an exhibit located in Fossil Butte National Monument, WY. This requirement is for the purchase of a small mouse bird fossil from the Fossil Lake sediments of the Green River Formation. Requested item(s) include: - 4" x 6" Mouse Bird Fossil - QTY 1 The National Park Service intends to procure the Mouse Bird Fossil from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 327991 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice.
