AMENDMENT 2 (05/13/2024): Additional Q&A Question 1: I would like to have the sq ft for the project. Response 1: The Program Office estimates that the scope of the area is about 2 acres, or about 87,000 square feet. This is only an estimate based on publicly available satellite imaging programs online. As previously specified, vendors are strongly urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonable obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Non-personal Groundskeeping Services for New Orleans Weather Forecast Office (WFO) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to award a low priced, technically acceptable, single firm fixed-price purchase order on an all or none basis with payment terms of Net 30. (b) Options.
