** EFFECTIVE MARCH 2, 2026: The government has posted Amendment No. 0002 hereunder this Notice (please refer to the Attachments Section). ** ** EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 12, 2026: The government has posted Amendment No. 0001 hereunder this Notice (please refer to the Attachments Section). ** ** Under this Solicitation, the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P626BA016 for bidding purposes. PROJECT INFORMATION: The scope primarily includes removing the existing material on the upstream face of a stacked masonry stone wall, shotcrete, applying a waterproofing system, and replacing the material to the east and west of the Upper Appleton hydropower plant. The existing wall is roughly 150 years old and has had increased seepage over the past decade. It is founded on bedrock and +/- 20 feet tall. The rehabilitation includes about 365 feet west of the hydropower plant and 140 feet east of the hydropower plant. ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237990, with a small business size standard in dollars of $45 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The requirement is for 439 calendar days. The solicitation IS downloadable from the internet only. Responses to this Solicitation (Invitation for Bids) are due by 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) on March 3, 2026.
