This Class Justification and Approval grants the authority to rapidly acquire commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) counter-Unmanned Aerial System (cUAS) capabilities in support of Operation EPIC FURY within the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). The ceiling value of this Justification and Approval for all IDIQs covered shall be $99,000,000.00. This justification will be valid for no more than one year from signature date or until the unusual and compelling requirements have been fulfilled, whichever is soonest. The 20th Contracting Squadron (20 CONS) will execute over thirty (30) contracting actions to acquire systems providing point defense, intelligence integration, electronic warfare effects, and advanced analytics. These acquisitions, which include multiple vendor-specific Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, will provide the open network connectivity necessary for ongoing defensive operations. Task orders will be issued under these IDIQs as operational requirements arise. Each selected vendor provides a distinct capability that addresses an identified operational requirement for Operation EPIC FURY. The technologies being procured have been evaluated through AFCENT Battle Lab operational testing and demonstration events. These include capabilities related to counter-UAS detection, swarm defense, electronic warfare, ISR data integration, rapid manufacturing, sensor integration, and mission software. All systems are COTS technologies that have proven interoperability with Department of the Air Force systems and are available for rapid delivery to meet immediate combat operations and force protection requirements.
