The site visit will occur on April 27, 2021 at 10:00 am ET. Each vendor may send up to three attendees to the site visit. Attending the site visit is not required to bid. End Amendment April 19, 2021**** This is a Request forQuote (RFQ)for commercial items prepared in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.The RFQ is attached to this notice. The provisions and clauses incorporated into the solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-04. Referenced FAR clauses can be found at www.acquisition.gov. The United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP),intends to procure modular and easily scalable solutions in support of its international mail processing modernization efforts at the International Mail Facility (IMF) located at the John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Jamaica, NY. The solutions forthe JFKlocation will allow for the batch loading, sorting, singulation, and processing of international mail. The envisioned system will use sensors to identify parcels and communicate with Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) imaging equipment to support routing for CBP inspections for each mailing in accordance with the requirementsin the Statement of Work (SOW). In addition to the requirements, proposals must also include installation, maintenance,repair and training services needed to support the proper operations and sustainment of this system in order to be considered for award.
