Competitive Presolicitation Notice THIS IS A COMPETITIVE AQUISITION: Solicitation will be issued on or about: 18 May 2021 and closes 18 June 2021 Solicitation number: FA8121-21-R-0021 Sources Sought number: The SSS was posted Wednesday 17 March 2021. The closure date is Monday 19 April 2021. Purchase Request number: FD20302131256 Nomenclature/Noun: F100-PW-220/229 Divergent Seal Assembly NSN: 2840-01-320-6432 & 2840-01-254-3054 Part Number: 4076459 & 4072683 Description: Delivery Overhaul Contract: The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, materials, parts, facilities and equipment required to disassemble, analyze, troubleshoot, overhaul, and test assets, assemblies and/or parts that are maintained or overhauled under this contract. These services also include alignment, adjustment, calibration, testing, movement, storage and reporting status related services to the overhaul and return of items to the users. Work performed under this work specification includes all actions necessary to ensure that the overhaul activity returns the serviceable end item with the same form, fit, function, and testability to the Government, including updating to the latest hardware/software configuration approved and funded by the government. The extent of overhaul required to assure a serviceable end item efficiently serves its intended purpose shall be determined by the inspection, test, bench check, and required disassembly. Overhauled items shall pass all OEM specifications, validated by the Special Test Equipment final acceptance test. Any component parts that do not meet specified inspection requirements, or if there is any doubt as to its serviceability or longevity shall be replaced at the Contractors expense. This includes any part requiring replacement due to catastrophic failure, fatigue failure, or normal deterioration.Please see attached Presolicitation Notice for Estimated CLIN Structure. Contract Type and Length: Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Multiple-year contract (Base plus Four Options) for the F100-PW-220/229 Divergent Seal Assembly.
