The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity (PCAC), Veteran Integration Service Networks (VISN) 12 have a requirement for providing medical cylinder gases and rental cylinders for each of the facilities located within the catchment area. The gases include, but are not limited to Compressed Medical Air USP, Oxygen USP, Carbon Dioxide USP, Nitrogen NF, Nitrous Oxide USP, Helium USP, and specialty medical gas mixtures in accordance with the Schedule of Items. A comprehensive list of actual requirements will be included in the Statement of Work and Schedule of Items within the solicitation package document. The contract period for this requirement consists of a five (5) year base period. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing and the business size standard for this requirement is 1,000 employees. In Accordance with 38 USC 8127, the proposed contract action is being procured as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Any vendor desiring to be considered for award MUST be verified as a SDVOSB in the Vender Information Pages (VIP) database of https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, both at the time of quotations submittal and at time of award. All responsible SDVOSB sources are encouraged to submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Any vendor desiring to be considered for award MUST also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) using this NAICS code or a NAICS code with an equivalent size standard.
