The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in enough detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Scope of Work: The VA Heartland Network 15, Contracting Office located at 3450 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS, 66048-5055 is seeking: a potential qualified contractor to provide ADA handrails for Bldgs. 23,52,60 and 53 in the connecting corridors at the VA St. Louis Health Care System, Jefferson Barracks Division located at 1 Jefferson Barracks Dr., St. Louis MO 63125. See below statement of work for a more detailed description. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) a). SCOPE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Jefferson Barracks in St Louis MO. requires the adding ADA handrails for Bldgs. 23,52,60 and 53 in the connecting corridors. This will be adding approximately 2280 linear feet of handrail and crash rail wall guards. We currently do not have installed and to the Jefferson Barracks Medical Center per Safety officer. The contractor shall furnish handrails and attaching hardware to match current facility style. (b). We will be installing vendor supplied handrails and crash rail wall guards and all hardware. Item Description Quantity 1 Layout corridors for install at proper ADA height. 2280 linear ft. 2 Install mounting brackets. 1104 ea. 3 Install handrails, model 2000 4 slice assembly. 208 ea. 4 Install crash rail wall guard model 700. 2280 linear ft. 5 Install crash rail wall guard end caps with hardware. 104 ea. 6 Install left and right return ends for handrail. 145 ea.
