Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Specific instructions on submitting responses will be contained in solicitation documents. A date and time for a site visit will be specified in the solicitation. A firm fixed priced purchase order is anticipated. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 36.204, Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Project, the magnitude of this project is (B) between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is for 8 months from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In compliance with FAR 22.403-1, Construction Wage Rate Requirements, the prevailing wage rates will apply. A solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. The solicitation subsequent to this announcement may be canceled at any time. NOTE: This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any quote preparation costs. Complete solicitation and attachments will be posted on or about June 25th, 2021. Project Description The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, and equipment necessary to: a. Update three rest rooms with new fixtures (one with improvements that are ABAAS/ ADA code compliant); furnish and install one electric hot water tank; install piping for existing water fountain and existing ice machine; and furnish and install all associated plumbing necessary to make improvements serviceable. b. Connect a new 400 amp three-phase underground lateral feed, replace existing electrical panels, connect a new Heat Pump system installed by others and install new switches, receptacles, and fixtures for a newly remodeled workspace. c. Size and execute installation of a new ductless mini-split heat pump system that can adequately heat and cool the Hancock Maintenance Office Space with a total interior area of 1800 square feet and comprised of four individual offices, three bathrooms and two common areas. d. Contractor will deconstruct existing, furnish, and assemble new to include the following: Tapered steel frame; factory finished metal pans for siding and roof panels; roof vent; gutters and downspout; concrete pier foundation without replacing the existing concrete pad if possible; replace existing electric panel, conduit and wiring; 12'x12' Steel Overhead service door; Two single hinged doors for individual access; six aluminum windows; loft style steel framed 2nd floor; stairs to 2nd floor; air to air ductless mini-split heat pump system with one condenser and two air handlers with a capacity of 3 tons for cooling and 13 MBH for heating. e. Remove, dispose of and replace the existing chain link fence with new galvanized chain link perimeter fence 1418' long and 6' tall in the existing footprint. Frame will include 130 Line Posts, 8 End Posts and 4 Corner Posts installed 10' OC in concrete footers 30"-36" in depth. Posts shall be installed true and in accordance with Manufacturers Recommendations and ASTM F567-93. Additional frame components will include top rails; bottom tension wire; and mid braces at corners. Posts will feature a combination of caps and barb arms which will support three strands of barb wire. The new fence will also feature two16-foot wide double swing gates and two 4-foot wide single swing gates. f. Install 600 linear feet of aluminum fascia cladding, 600 linear feet of aluminum soffit cladding, 440 linear feet of painted white aluminum seamless gutters, 440 linear feet of leaf shields and 240 linear feet of spouting. Hang with fascia mounted screw in hangers w/clips, downspout drops, end caps, and all related fasteners. 17) Set-aside Status. The requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS is 236220 and the business size standard is $39.5 M size standard.
