The requirement is for designing, furnishing, and installing a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) capable of providing variable flow and variable pressure and a rain sensor capable of shutting off the system during rain events compatible with the existing 50 horsepower 3 phase electric submersible pump. The Jimmy Carter PMC operates a lateral move overhead irrigation system equipped with hardware, software, and controls to apply water according to variable rate prescription. An existing well, GA groundwater permit A02-129-0439, provides the irrigation water on demand but lacks the ability to adjust flow rate. To improve management and conservation, additional flow rate and pressure control is needed to better utilize variable rate water application.
