NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center has a requirement for 8a certified companies with experience in product development and hardware deliverables of mechanical and electromechanical subsystems in support of NASA Space Flight Missions, to support a planetary flagship mission at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Interested vendors with experience in the engineering development and design, manufacturing and assembly, space flight qualification and performance testing, and delivery of mechanical, mechanisms, electromechanical, and/or deployment system hardware in support of NASA missions should send information regarding capabilities, in-house and partner facilities, and examples of past deliveries to NASA or similar missions, including cost and schedule performance. Required capabilities include concept development, requirements flow-down and definition, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly, verification and validation of requirements, and qualification and performance testing of the product deliverable, including required certifications and traceability deliverables for NASA flagship mission hardware. Some on-site support at Goddard Space Flight Center may be required to support integration and test activities. Required support includes attendance at meetings and select reviews (may be virtual), generation of weekly/monthly reporting, presentations and the closure of all open paperwork and associated documentation.
