PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE BACKGROUND The Wilmington VAMC requires a Brand Name or Equal procurement of 12 Harloff M-Series Medication Carts (MDS3021EKC05). Our current carts are overwhelmed with our new supplies and more space is needed to be compliant with Infection Control and Joint Commission standards. This procurement will be a SDVOSB set-aside. DELIVERY AND SHIPMENT: All items quoted must be F.O.B. destination. Delivery confirmation of equipment and commodities will be made through the Logistics Department of the VAMC Wilmington (460). This will include documentation of receipt and assignment of a facility based EE number for identification and tracking purposes Wilmington VA Medical Center 1601 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE. 19805 SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 12 treatment carts measured at 34 H x 36.75 W x 22 D (the measurement of the available space in each treatment room) 32.87 height of working space to match our current surgical set up. Must have 5 full extending drawers with stops; 3 top drawers at 3 with each drawer must be configured with adjustable trays with 6 long dividers and 10 short dividers to allow placement of small single use supply items without them sliding to another compartment. The bottom 2 drawers at 6 with each configured with 18 individual compartments. They must be made of plastic to avoid corrosion from accidental acid etch spills and replaceable as needed. The top of the cart must have a removable antimicrobial top so it may be replaced if it becomes damaged during its use. This will prevent having to replace the whole cart. One side of cart must have a handle to easily move the cart. 5 Ball-Bearing Tente casters for ease of transport. Electronic Lock with a keypad that auto-locks after a predetermined time that can be changed as needed. Lock must be programmable to allow at least 2 separate codes (a primary for general staff use and a secondary for administrator use). This is to meet the requirement of locking all medications and sharps when staff not present. Also prevents any cart from accidently being left unsecured. Hospital Grade, 6 Socket with covers and cord wrap, 15 Cord attached to the cart to allow the many electronic equipment to be plugged into the cart then the cart can easily be plugged into wall outlet allowing free movement of the cart to a patient whether in a wheelchair, medical bed or dental chair. Aluminum Bin attached to the right side of cart 55 H x 19.5 W x 5 D. This will allow for placement of curing light and additional instruments when counter space is not available on assistant side of treatment room. 11 of the carts require A 12 x 20 shelf attached to a pole (swingable) on the back of cart for placement of an Amalgamator or Surgical handpiece motor. 1 of the carts require a raised rack system with 5 adjustable tilt bin compartments placed above the cart. This will allow the placement of disposable items required by the Prosthodontist. Solicitation will be posted with requirement and submission details no later than 6/21/2021.
