The PCS program will assist United States Air Force (USAF) Active Duty Uniformed and Civilian travelers with the paperlesssubmission of PCS related documents. The application provides relief to Financial Management Flights (FMF) at installation levelfrom compiling PCS packages and scanning these packages to the Travel Pay and Processing-Ellsworth (TPPE) for computationand processing PCS travel pay transactions. The application will provide relief (by way of efficiencies, automation, and accuracy)to the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) Personnel & FM community, installation level gaining Civilian Personnel Section (CPS)& Comptroller Squadron (CPTS), and TPPE by automating accounting and disbursing, producing reporting tools, and providingdata analytics. Additionally, the application will automate computations to the maximum extent possible and utilize variousinterfaces and web APIs to eliminate the manual computations and data entry at AFPC PCS Units (both Uniformed and Civilian)and at TPPE. This will address ongoing issues with: Congressional/DoD level reporting requirements, timeliness of claim-tosettlementto the traveler, unauditable and labor intensive manual driven processes, segmented and inconsistent business rules and documentation, travel allowance clarity, and ease of use/visibility to the traveler throughout the process.
