DLA Aberdeen anticipates issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about December 15, 2021, for the following item listed below to support the AN/VAS-5A and AN/VAS-5B Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE). The AN/VAS-5A and AN/VAS-5B are uncooled thermal imaging systems developed for the use of drivers operating a multitude of Combat Vehicles (CV) and Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV). The NAICS code is 334511. The proposed contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one five-year base period and one five-year option period. FAR Part 15 will apply to this acquisition. The RFP will be unrestricted and will not be set aside for small business. Note: The annual BEQ is listed for planning purposes only. Actual annual ordered quantities may be more or less that the annual BEQ. The approved manufacturing source of supply is DRS Network and Imaging Systems, CAGE code 32865 The Government does own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for this item or the AN/VAS-5A/B DVE system.
