SITE VISIT SCHEDULED ON LOCATION ON 13 JANUARY 2026 FROM 10AM-2PM HAWAII TIME The Davis Bacon Act will apply. All other applicable clauses per the QVL will apply and all applicable clauses will be present in the contract once awarded. 1.0 GENERAL SCOPE The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, product, equipment, materials, and supervision for the planning and execution associated with the QKK (Kokee) Asbestos Abatement Project at the Radar site located within Kokee State Park in Kauai, Hawaii. The extent of the work will be specific to certain areas outlined within this package. The following items are a summary of the project and are provided solely for the purpose of describing the general nature of the work. The Contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work identified in the applicable drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract: A. General 1. QKK ARSR is an active facility that supports operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 2. All work shall be coordinated with the FAA and be accomplished on a Not to interfere with operations basis. 3. Any outages or access restrictions shall be approved at least 24 hours prior to the associated work 4. Construction material shall be stored only in FAA approved areas. 5. Construction staging shall be allowed only in the FAA approved areas. 6. The Contractor shall provide all temporary services required for construction. 7. The Contractor shall clean up and restore the site grounds to its original condition after the work has been performed and properly dispose of any project waste. 8. The site has access restrictions, and contractor shall comply with facility requirements. This may include providing a list of employees for access prior to beginning work. All access requirements will be coordinate through the project COR/Implementer.
