The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District is seeking information for a requirement for the construction of a foreign military sales, training center to support the bed down of the F-35 aircraft located at Ebbing Field ANG in Fort Smith, Arkansas.The scope of work also includes, but is not limited to:The construction of a foreign military sales, training center to support the bed down of the F-35 aircraft located at Ebbing Field ANG in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Construct two separate buildings: 1) an Academic Training Center and 2) a Squadron Operations Facility for the Foreign Military Sales F-35 program. Both buildings are multi-story steel-framed, brick veneer, air space, rigid insulation, weather barrier on CMU block or steel metal framing, gypsum board at the interior face, metal panel elements on exterior fa?ade, insulated windows storefront and curtain wall assemblies, slab on grade foundation and a low slope membrane roof. The facility will provide spaces for training classrooms, spaces for flight simulator training, conference rooms, administrative and administrative support spaces, bathrooms, a hallway, lobby, and vestibule, storage space, break rooms, communications, mechanical and electrical spaces, and a janitor?s closet. Building Information Systems, Fire Life Safety Systems, Electronic Security Systems, and Utility Control Systems are to be included. Sustainability and enhancement measures are included. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, landscaping, and storm drainage.The Facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01. This project will comply with Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01. Air Conditioning: 580 Tons.
