RADIATION PHYSICIST SERVICE - [644] Base Year Plus Three Option Years (B+3OYs) | POP 04/01/2026 - 03/31/2030 | PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office Twenty-two (NCO22), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract with a base year and four (4) option years to LBT Diagnostic Radiation Physics Consulting Ltd. (SAM UEI: XRT7H1NWC918). The services will be performed for the Phoenix VA Healthcare System (PVAHS) located at 650 East Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85012-1859. This notice is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. It serves as the Government s sole notice of intent to negotiate with only one source and functions as the synopsis for this proposed action. The requirement is for specialized diagnostic radiation physics consulting services essential to ensure the safety, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity of VASNHCS imaging services. Radiology and imaging programs must maintain continuous compliance with applicable FDA and Joint Commission standards, necessitating ongoing radiation safety oversight, equipment performance evaluations, and expert regulatory support. The anticipated Period of Performance is April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2030 (base year plus three option years). This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, request for quotation, or request for proposal. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
