The National Park Service (NPS) has amended the business opportunity soliciting proposals to award a new concession contract to operate food and beverage, retail, and other services within Great Basin National Park. This Amendment No. 1 serves as notice of edited language to the Draft Contract, Section 1 (Term of Contract). The amended language provides the right to exercise the option to shorten the term of the Draft Contract from ten (10) years to five (5) years. The NPS will allow interested parties additional time to provide their Notice of Intent to Propose in connection with this solicitation. The revised due dates for this solicitation are as follows: Notice of Intent to Propose are due by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on April 16, 2026 Proposals must be received by the Commercial Services office by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on April 30, 2026, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Draft Contract. Available on the NPS Commercial Services website at the link below, is the amended Draft Contract and Business Opportunity document, each reflecting changes necessitated by the addition of this option language. The NPS will only accept electronic proposals in response to this prospectus and proposals must be received, no later than the day and time listed above in the format outlined in the Proposal Instructions, to be evaluated for award of the new concession contract.
