VENDOR QUESTION: Question: I had one question regarding the requirements. Â It says R448a refrigeration replacing standard. Â A little confused by that. Â Is the R448a the requested refrigerant or is it requesting to replace that standard refrigerant with another? Â Is R290a an acceptable alternative? Â Answer: R290a is acceptable and what is called for on the specification sheet.
