Enclosed is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Janitorial Services for the American Embassy in Quito, Ecuador. If you would like to submit your proposal, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on May 6, 2026, at 10:00 am, at the Quito Embassy, located at Avigiras E12-170 y Av. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation instructions and no further consideration will be given.
