08/03/2026 Amendment A00002: RFI #2 Q&A for fencing project: Please clarify the documents needed for proposal submission. Is there an SF1442 form? Notice is SAM states ?The GOVT will award ? ?Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable?. Please confirm what technical information is required to be submitted with this proposal. Technical proposal shall include vendors plan to perform work requested within SOW and if used, shall also include name of Sub-Contractor and subs past performance related to this type of work. SOW does not mention period of performance. Please confirm the number of days all work is required to be completed within. To be completed within 30 days. Please confirm whether a signed and sealed as-built survey is required after construction is completed. Signed and sealed as-build survey not required. Please provide brand and model of new security camera or base standard to follow. Please provide a standalone security camera, or one incorporated into the keypad, with motion detection and memory card capability. No specific brand or model is required. During site walk, the existing fence had razor ribbon. New razor ribbon is not mentioned in the SOW as part of the barbed wire. Please confirm if this is required to be installed along with the 3 strands of straight barbed wire. The SOW has been updated and attached to this solicitation to include concertina wire on section A and B. Existing chain link fence is 6?. SOW states new fence is to be 8?. Please confirm that the new fence is to be 8? plus the height of the barbed wire (approximately 1 foot height) for a total of 9?. The SOW has been updated. Sections A and B will match the existing height of 6 feet. The orange line, representing the back fence in Section C, will remain at 8 feet. Please confirm if any new signage required to be hung on the new fence or new gates as part of this SOW. No requirements from the contractor to install new signage. Sow does not state what type of operator for the gate. Please provide a make/model for the new operator. The SOW states that a gate operator is required, including all materials necessary to complete the installation. The facility has 220/120 voltage available. Demolition portion: Q: Will we be able to cut current posts off at ground level and leave in place, or would you like each of the posts and concrete removed and subsequently backfilled? A: Post and concrete shall be removed and backfilled. Q: During existing fence removal, will there be anyone available to assist in moving vehicles away from fence? It seems like some of them are very close and we want to take every precaution against damage. A: The unit will make the notification to have the owner move their vehicles away from the fence.
